Welcome to ISUILS12

This year, we will hold our meeting at Colegio Arzobispo Fonseca, Salamanca, Spain during October 6th – 11th, 2013. We are honored to have Prof. Deepak Mathur (Tata Institute of Fundamental Research) and Prof. Alfred Maquet (Pierre et Marie Curie University) as the Honorary Co-chairs of ISUILS12.

The scientific sessions of the symposium will cover wide areas of rapidly growing interdisciplinary research fields of ultrafast intense laser science. In each session, we will have a discussion leader and two to three invited speakers, with ample time allotted for discussion. There will be poster sessions, and a session for the poster presenters to give a short oral presentation of their poster papers. We will have two sponsors’ sessions, one of which will be held in the newly opened laboratory at the Spanish Pulsed Lasers Center (Centro de Láseres Pulsados Ultracortos Ultraintensos, CLPU).

This year the 4th ISUILS Awards for Young Researchers will be given to promising young researchers and students. The call for applications for the awards will be posted on the website shortly.
