Lijiang can be reached by plane from several major cities in China. There are direct flights from Beijing and Shanghai (Hongqiao). Please consult your travel agencies regarding flights into and from Lijiang.
Transportation from Lijiang airport to the symposium hotels
Lijiang Airport is located in the south of Lijiang city, 28 km (17 mi) away from downtown and is about 30 minutes by car.
Shuttle bus service to the hotels will be arranged for the participants on the day of arrival (Oct. 29) and the day of departure (Nov. 3). Details will be announced as soon as they are fixed.
Taxis can be picked up outside of the airport terminal at a taxi stand. It takes about 30 minutes to Dian Jun Wang Hotel and costs around 150 CNY.
