Welcome to ISUILS2018
The 17th meeting of our symposium series will be held this year at Thermal Hotel Visegrád, Visegrád, Hungary between October 14th and 19th, 2018. This year, we are honored to have Prof. Sandro De Silvestri (Politecnico di Milano) as our Honorary Chair.
During the symposium, we will have nine scientific sessions covering a wide array of rapidly growing interdisciplinary research fields in ultrafast intense laser science. In each session, we will have two or three invited talks followed by a discussion period. There will also be poster sessions, as well as a session for the poster presenters to give short oral presentations of their poster papers. In addition, we will have presentations by the sponsor companies in the sponsors’ sessions.
On October 16th, we will visit ELI-ALPS facility in Szeged and hold two sessions on ELI-related topics, followed by a laboratory tour.
The 9th ISUILS Awards for Young Researchers will be given to promising young researchers and students. The call for applications for the awards will be posted on the website shortly. We urge the senior colleagues to encourage their students and young researchers to participate in this international symposium so that they can appreciate the frontiers of ultrafast intense laser science.
