The fifteenth meeting of our symposium series will be held at Cassis Convention Center, Cassis, France during October 2nd - 7th, 2016. We are honored to have Prof. Dimitris Charalambidis (FORTH, IESL) as the Honorary Chair this year.
During the symposium, we will have nine scientific sessions covering a wide array of rapidly growing interdisciplinary research fields in ultrafast intense laser science. In each session, we will have two or three invited talks followed by a discussion period. Among the nine sessions, we will have a special session focusing on scientific cooperation with XCELS (Exawatt Center for Extreme Light Studies) Russian project in the field of high power laser research in the framework of the CREMLIN European project (www.cremlin.eu). There will also be poster sessions, as well as a session for the poster presenters to give short oral presentations of their poster papers. In addition, we will have presentations by the sponsor companies in the sponsors’ sessions.
The 7th ISUILS Awards for Young Researchers will be given to promising young researchers and students. The call for applications for the awards will be posted on the website shortly. We urge the senior colleagues to encourage young researchers and students in their groups to participate in this international symposium so that they can explore the frontiers of ultrafast intense laser science.
